Brenton and Debbie Driscoll were approved to be missionary interns to Bulgaria shortly before the birth of their son, James (2020). They served in Shumen for two years, during which they were blessed with a second child, their daughter, Ruby Katherine (2022). The Driscolls completed their two-year internship in Shumen in June 2022, and reloacateed to the city of Varna where they are presently serving at New Life church.
Jack and Ashley Ketteman recently completed a 2.5 year intersnhip and have been appointed to return to Japan as career missionaries. After 14 years of youth/family ministry in the States, they moved to Tokyo near the end of 2018 to join the Hope Alive church-planting team, helpiung establish a bilingual church in Tokorozawa.
Upon returning to Japan in 2022, the Ketteman began their next term in full-time language school while still participating at Hope Alive on a smaller scale. After completion of language school they will re-enter full-time ministry better equipped to share the Gospel in the Japanese language.
Matt, Chrstina, Madeleing, and Emile live and minister in St. Nazaire, France. They moved to St. Nazaire in 2018 after serving in Nantes, France for 12 years. Currently they are serving with Dennis and Carol Teauge.
Brandon and Shelly Smith are lead church planters with Project Hickory. The Smiths are working with associates Jonathan and Heathre Huff to plant Equip Church in Hickory, NC.
Hickory currently has over 400,000 people and no FWB churches. Sadly, over half of the population calims to have no religous affiliation at all, and a large percentage struggle with opiod addiction, making Project Hickory a vital gospel work of hope in this community.
Ed and Rachel Goode are lead church planters at The Bridge Church. The Bridge Church is a join project between the Illinois FWB mission booard and North American Ministries.
Champaigne is the fastesst growing city outside of Chicago in Illinoise. Besides its booming population of over 200,000, Champaign is home to over 50,000 college students, which houses the largest porportion of international students of any college in the US, providing The Bridge wil uniquely diverse ministry opportunities.
